§17-4. Scaffold course. 36 hours of theory. (ENGLISH)

21 – 25 October we are offering a 36-hour theory course.

The course is in accordance with regulations on the execution of work § 17-4.

The course covers the theory part of being able to assemble, dismantle, change and check scaffolding with an uppermost scaffolding floor of nine metres, as well as for scaffolding that is not assembled in a standard arrangement according to the supplier’s assembly instructions.

Course content:

• Review of current regulations and standards for scaffolding
• Review of current installation instructions
• Safety when assembling, dismantling and changing scaffolding
• Measures to reduce the risk of falling for people and objects
• Permissible loads
• Strength calculation of scaffolding
• Wind calculations of anchorages
• Inspection of scaffolding
• Approvals and labeling of scaffolding
• Maintenance and inspection of scaffolding
• The exam

Target group for the course:
People who must assemble, dismantle, change and check scaffolding in accordance with regulations for the execution of work §17 – 4 over 9 metres.

Examination / certification:
Theory test with questions and math problems. A course certificate will be issued to each candidate who has completed and passed the training. The course certificate will contain information about the training location, course content, date of completion, the candidate’s name and date of birth and will be signed by the general manager / course coordinator.

Price per participant NOK 8,490

Price includes lunch and course certificate.

Cancellation – Cancellation – Payment

• Course cancellations must be made no later than one week before the start of the course. If canceled after 1 week before the start of the course, you will be charged 50% of the course fee. In case of cancellation on the same day as the course/no-show, 100% of the course fee will be charged.

• We reserve the right to cancel courses if there are fewer than 3 people registered, or due to circumstances beyond our control (force majeure).
